Construction for the Plantation Palms masterplanned community is in full swing with its first stage due to complete in approximately July 2008. The civil contractors, Civdec, are now finalising construction on of the stormwater drainage and sewerage reticulation which are currently approximately 50% complete. Excavation and landscape works will commence within the next month on Plantation Park and the entry feature on Eimeo Road. Plantation Palms is the single largest residential project development in Mackay to date and is the only sustainable masterplanned community in the region.
